Live Tutorials via Google Hangouts on Air
To help produce useful video tutorials for EMAN2, we are starting to host a series of live tutorials on various topics. These tutorials will be hosted through "Google Hangouts on Air":
- Up to 10 people can join in video-conference style and ask questions in real-time during the session. This requires an invitation from me.
- An unlimited number of additional people can join as viewers (also real-time or with a brief delay), who will be able to post questions for me to answer during the session (if the time lag isn't too great).
The entire interactive session is automatically archived on YouTube after the session is over. For those who can't easily access YouTube (China for example) we will also archive the videos on our site under the "Video Tutorials" category.
To participate
If you wish to be one of the interactive participants, you must email me (sludtke@bcm.edu) at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time and request an invitation. The first 10 participants to join will get a spot.
If you wish to join as an observer (with typed questions), look at my YouTube Channel
- Once the session is complete, an archived version will be uploaded as a permanent video tutorial later that day. Naturally you will have to email any questions you have if you watch it later.
